An impossible two-headed bat, preserved in a deep red velvet shadow box as if it had been recovered from a forgotten collection of biological oddities.

The bifurcated anatomy, mummified textures and dark aged finish turn a familiar nocturnal creature into something entirely unnatural. Framed behind an ornate presentation, the piece works as a complete wall display rather than a standalone sculpture.

THE SPECIMEN

The Two-Headed Bat imagines the kind of anatomical anomaly that might once have passed quietly between collectors of cryptids, natural curiosities and unexplained specimens.

Its twin heads emerge from a single mummified body, surrounded by dark textures and rich red velvet that deliberately recalls the dramatic presentation of old curiosity displays.

Each piece is painted and weathered by hand, giving the skin, fur and preserved surfaces subtle variations that reinforce the illusion of an unusual specimen rather than a conventional decorative figure.

Created entirely from synthetic materials. No real animal parts are used.

DISPLAY & PACKAGING

The specimen comes fully mounted inside its wooden shadow box and arrives ready to hang.

Each complete display is securely protected inside a custom-made wooden shipping crate for international transport.

If you are a collector of the fine, handmade, macabre, old-worldly and occult you should invest in pieces from this incredible artist. Everything is detailed and looks even better and more realistic than the picture. If it wasn’t for the more demonic hellish freaky feel this creature gives off you would think this is a real taxidermy bat pined to a beautiful antique frame.

How long does it take to create and ship my order?

Most Monster Labs pieces are handmade to order and normally require approximately 1-3 weeks to craft before dispatch. Items currently in stock may ship sooner, while preorders follow the specific production timeline stated on their product page.

Once dispatched, international transit normally takes approximately 4-12 business days, depending on the destination and customs clearance. Orders to the United States typically arrive within approximately 4-5 business days after dispatch.

All orders are securely packed and shipped via FedEx with tracking.

Can I return or exchange an item?

Because our pieces are handmade and individually produced, we only accept returns or exchanges for items that arrive damaged or defective. We do not accept returns due to change of mind.

If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging.

If a return is required and approved, the item must be shipped back within 21 days of delivery, in the condition in which it was received, with its original packaging and all included components. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed with Monster Labs Studios.

Minor variations in color, texture and finish are normal characteristics of handmade work and are not considered defects.

Will I need to pay customs duties or taxes?

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs clearance charges, brokerage fees, disbursement fees, handling fees or other destination charges depending on the destination.

The shipping amount paid at checkout covers transportation only and does not include these additional charges.

Any additional charges assessed by FedEx, customs authorities or local authorities are the buyer's responsibility. Monster Labs Studios does not control or receive these charges.
