About this piece
Catalogued as Foetus Trioculus indicus, this three-eyed fetal anomaly is presented as a fictional preserved specimen originating from India.
The curled figure features two closed eyes and a third eye centered on the forehead. A dark beaded necklace, aged museum-style label, and antique specimen container complete the presentation.
The fetus is displayed inside a tall acrylic jar with a handcrafted wooden base and lid. A mechanical-style upper clamp secures the lid in place, recreating the appearance of an antique medical preservation container.
The entire artifact is a fictional art specimen made from synthetic materials. It contains no human or animal remains.

Trioculus recreates the appearance of one of these forgotten specimens, combining fictional anatomy with the presentation of an antique museum artifact.
