Part eagle, part lion, the Griffin has appeared for thousands of years as a guardian of treasures and sacred places. This Cursed Items interpretation transforms that familiar mythical creature into a convincingly aged specimen, with desiccated anatomy, worn textures and remnants of hair that suggest something once living.

THE SPECIMEN

Griffins have guarded temples, tombs and treasures in mythology for millennia, but almost always as symbols carved in stone or painted into ancient works.

This piece imagines something far stranger: the preserved remains of the creature itself.

Its skeletal proportions, dried surfaces and aged hair are carefully finished to create the appearance of a long-preserved mythical animal, while the raised base and protective dome turn the entire composition into a self-contained collector's display.

Created entirely from synthetic materials. No real animal remains are used.

How long does it take to create and ship my order?

Most Monster Labs pieces are handmade to order and normally require approximately 1-3 weeks to craft before dispatch. Items currently in stock may ship sooner, while preorders follow the specific production timeline stated on their product page.

Once dispatched, international transit normally takes approximately 4-12 business days, depending on the destination and customs clearance. Orders to the United States typically arrive within approximately 4-5 business days after dispatch.

All orders are securely packed and shipped via FedEx with tracking.

Can I return or exchange an item?

Because our pieces are handmade and individually produced, we only accept returns or exchanges for items that arrive damaged or defective. We do not accept returns due to change of mind.

If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging.

If a return is required and approved, the item must be shipped back within 21 days of delivery, in the condition in which it was received, with its original packaging and all included components. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed with Monster Labs Studios.

Minor variations in color, texture and finish are normal characteristics of handmade work and are not considered defects.

Will I need to pay customs duties or taxes?

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs clearance charges, brokerage fees, disbursement fees, handling fees or other destination charges depending on the destination.

The shipping amount paid at checkout covers transportation only and does not include these additional charges.

Any additional charges assessed by FedEx, customs authorities or local authorities are the buyer's responsibility. Monster Labs Studios does not control or receive these charges.

Customs processing may occasionally cause delivery delays.
