About this piece
This framed anatomical display presents the alleged original specimen that inspired the classic Good Luck Troll toy.
Its recognizable smile and towering blue hair remain intact, but the body has been opened and secured to a detailed dissection surface, revealing a carefully sculpted arrangement of internal organs beneath the skin.
The specimen features a disturbing facial expression and specially finished eye inserts designed to resemble cloudy, semi-blind, lifeless eyes.
What was once associated with luck and childhood nostalgia is reinterpreted as an unsettling anatomical artifact from a forgotten private collection.
